Denmark
What do we associate with Denmark?
Denmark is a country of calm, honest and punctual people. It is said, that in small towns you can leave an open bag on a bench and pick it up in two days. The only thing that may happen is a bit of dust on its surface. In Copenhagen you can rent a bicycle for free and give it back after a ride in a different place.
Hans Christian Andersen, the author and poet, famous for his fairy tales such as "The Snow Queen:, "Little Mermaid" or "The Ugly Duckling" and the creator of famous LEGO toys, Godfred Christiansen, were born in Denmark.
In a short profile of that picturesque country we cannot forget about a symbol of Copenhagen - a small mermaid from H.C. Andersen's fairy tale.
